Savings Institute Bank & Trust has hired Gene Michael Deary as vice president and director of retail lending.
Deary was previously area sales manager at the Bank of Canton, and previously was partner and owner of Patriot Funding.
In his new role, he will work to develop consumer and residential lending throughout SI’s 26 branches.
Deary serves as finance chair in Brooklyn, where he lives, and also serves on the board of directors at Arc Quinebaug Valley.
