A new ShopRite Supermarket employing as many 250 workers is planned by early fall for East Haven, authorities say.
The 60,000-square-foot grocery signed a lease for space that was formerly an A&P and Big Y food store, to anchor the FoxHaven Plaza at 713 Foxon Road.
Pearce Commercial represented landlord Pyramid Construction Group in the lease.
In addition, the plaza will undergo significant upgrades to the building, parking areas and grounds.

The ShopRite is due to open in summer or early fall.
