The Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport has completed a multimillion-dollar overhaul of its public spaces, funded by the hotel’s ownership group with financing from Liberty Bank, officials announced Thursday.
The renovation, which took about eight months, transformed the lobby, meeting and event spaces, executive lounge and fitness center at the 237-room hotel, which sits directly connected to Bradley International Airport.
Guest rooms were renovated in a prior phase of the project.
The project also introduced &More by Sheraton, the brand’s restaurant and bar concept, which is designed to serve as a coffee destination in the morning and transition to a bar and dining space in the evening.
The hotel is operated by Waterford Hotel Group and is affiliated with the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program.
“The completion of this renovation represents an exciting new chapter for the Sheraton Hartford Hotel at Bradley Airport,” said General Manager Mahendradat Mangroo. “These enhancements reinforce our commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience while providing modern, welcoming spaces for travelers, business groups and the local community.”
Michael Heaton, president of Waterford Hotel Group, said the company would evaluate staffing needs as business levels increase following the renovation.
The redesigned lobby features collaborative workspaces and updated technology, while the refreshed meeting and event spaces are equipped with modern finishes and upgraded audiovisual capabilities.
The renovated Executive Lounge is reserved for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members.
