Shelton’s Planning and Zoning Commission is scheduled on Wednesday to discuss a proposal to build a 48-unit apartment complex.
255 Canal Shelton LLC plans to construct the five-story, 61,357-square-foot building on vacant land at 255 Canal St., according to an application filed with the commission. Each unit would contain two bedrooms. The development would have 93 parking spaces.
255 Canal Shelton LLC is controlled by Don Stanziale Jr., of Shelton, and Gino LaVerghetta and Anthony Pili, both of New York. Stanziale is the owner of Midland Development and Contracting.
Lavarghetta is a certified public accountant with Luigi Lavarghetta CPA, while Pili is a chief innovation officer with Orange Bank & Trust, according to their company websites.
