Shelton professional building sold for $3.7 million

A property on River Road in Shelton has sold for $3.7 million.

Fairfield-based 865 River Road LLC and principals Joseph Grasso and Maria Karayiannis bought the property at 865 River Rd. from Weston-based Bishop Development of Shelton II LLC and principal Howard Saffan in a deal recorded July 22.

The 19,000-square-foot building, built in 2008, sits on 1.3 acres and was fully leased at the time of sale. 

Tenants in the multi-level building include a dog-training center, an orthodontist, a hair salon and several law offices.

The property has a total appraised value of $1.9 million.
