A Shelton property leased to The Goddard School has sold for nearly $4.33 million, town land records show.
The property at 749 Bridgeport Ave. was built in 2024 and sits on 1 acre. The deal closed Aug. 24, according to land records.
The Goddard School has a 15-year lease at the property, according to Robert Horvath, whose brokerage firm Horvath & Tremblay handled the listing.
The buyer is Jelss LLC, whose principals are Ridgefield-based John Gary and Denise L. Brown, according to state records.
The seller, F S Shelton LLC, is controlled by New Jersey resident John Abene, of Highview Commercial. The company also sold a Shelton property leased to Trader Joe’s that same month.
The property’s most recent assessed value was $1.9 million.
