State environmental regulators said Monday the swimming area and boat at Shelton’s Indian Well State Park has reopened following weekend closure for emergency repairs to the nearby Derby Dam.
The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) said the water level in the Housatonic River has returned to normal levels.
