A clinical-stage biotechnology company said it received a letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market confirming it had met the minimum $2.5 million stockholders’ equity requirement.
Shelton-based Intensity Therapeutics Inc. said it has regained compliance with Nasdaq’s minimum stockholders’ equity requirement, following a series of recent fundraising rounds that extended its cash runway into the second half of 2026.
The clinical-stage biotechnology company said Tuesday it received a letter from the Nasdaq Stock Market confirming it had met the minimum $2.5 million stockholders’ equity requirement.
The notification to shareholders
came a week after Intensity announced that it raised $6.6 million through an at-the-market offering.
"We are pleased with regaining compliance with the minimum Stockholders' Equity Requirement based on our positive fundraising efforts through the end of July 2025," said Lewis H. Bender, Intensity’s president and CEO. "Based on the cash raised through July 2025, we now project to have sufficient cash to fund our current operating plan into the second half of 2026."
In late June,
Intensity said it risked delisting from Nasdaq for failing to maintain a minimum $1 share price.
Intensity Therapeutics is developing intratumoral cancer treatments designed to destroy tumors while prompting the immune system to attack cancer cells. Their focus lies in engineering treatments that are injected directly into tumors to both kill cancer cells and activate the immune system against them.
