Dan Shea has been promoted to senior vice president of marketing for Philadelphia Insurance Co.’s 24-state Eastern Territory.
For the past eight years, Shea has served as regional vice president of PHLY’s Northeast Region, based in East Hartford. Shea started with PHLY as a production underwriter and is now in his 24th year with the company. He previously served as regional manager and assistant vice president before being promoted to regional vice president in 2006.
He takes over for Brian O’Reilly who was recently promoted to executive vice president and chief marketing officer.
Philadelphia Insurance Cos. is a property and casualty insurance company for niche markets.
