Shake Shack is set to open its seventh location in Connecticut on Thursday.
The restaurant, located at 3329 Berlin Turnpike, Unit 6 in Newington, is the chain’s second location in Hartford County.
The Newington Shack will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.Â
Shake Shack chain is known for its burgers, sandwiches and hand-spun milkshakes.

It also has restaurants in West Hartford, New Haven, Danbury, Darien, Westport and at the Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk in South Windsor.
On opening day in Newington, the first wave of guests will receive custom Shake Shack keychains. In addition, Shake Shack will donate $1 for every sandwich sold at the Newington Shack on April 25 to Connecticut Foodshare.
