Seven-unit, three-building apartment property sells for $2.47M in Stamford

A Stamford property with three buildings housing a total of seven apartments has sold for $2.47 million, according to the city’s land records.

Shai Hogeg and Yaren Bobila, both of New York City, doing business as Golden Orchard LLC, have bought the buildings at 26 Orchard St., from George Lawrence McGowan, of Newtown, doing business as Orchard Gardens 26 LLC.

An email to Hogeg, the founder of New York-based consumer services company FixFix, was not immediately returned.

The three buildings and the 0.25-acre parcel they occupy were appraised at $1.73 million and assessed at $1.21 million, according to property records.

The three buildings consist of a two-story, 2,344-square-foot building that was constructed in 1900 and has nine bedrooms; a two-story, 3,246-square-foot building that was built in 2015 and has six bedrooms; and a three-story, 5,107-square-foot building that was erected in 2016 and has nine bedrooms.

Stavros Filippidis, a broker with Horvath & Tremblay, represented the seller and procured the buyer in this transaction.
