A longtime Connecticut disaster restoration business said it has acquired franchise rights to Hartford and New Haven counties and Springfield, Mass.
ServiceMaster by Wills said it has acquired ServiceMaster of Hartford, which includes offices in Hartford and New Haven, adding to its existing offices in New London and Stamford.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The business, which offers fire and water damage repair, mold removal and other services, was founded in eastern Connecticut in 1982 by Steve and Sheri Wills. In the late 1980s, the Wills acquired territories in Fairfield County and Westchester County, New York.
