A Stamford-based company that makes referral management software for healthcare networks has named serial health technology entrepreneur Eric Rosow as its CEO.
Founded in 2015, ReferWell uses technology and human care navigators to help patients connect with in-network providers, schedule appointments, arrange transportation and other support services, and follow up to ensure visits take place.
Rosow has founded and led multiple healthcare technology companies. Most recently, he co-founded HiveTech AI, an AI-enabled operating system for modern beekeeping. He also served as CEO of West Hartford-based Health Chain, a health data management platform, from October 2025 to April 2026.
In 2023, Rosow co-founded and led Conduce Health, a value-based specialty care marketplace. He later served as executive chairman before the company was acquired by Switchboard Health in 2025, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Rosow also founded healthcare data analytics company Diameter Health in 2014 and sold it to Availity in 2022. Earlier, he co-founded Premise Health in 2004 and sold the company to Atlanta-based Eclypsis in 2009 for $38.5 million.
Rosow has been a member of the board of directors of Hartford Healthcare since June 2023 and of the board of trustees of Chamberlain University since October 2018. He has been on the board of the Connecticut Technology Council since 2010.
