William Fleming was promoted to senior vice president and commercial loan officer from vice president and commercial loan officer at Connecticut River Community Bank in West Hartford.

Joseph L. LaRosa was hired as communications director at United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut in Hartford. LaRosa was previously director of the Substance Abuse Action Council of Central Connecticut.

Community Mental Health Affiliates Inc. in New Britain named Mary Casey chief financial officer. Casey was formerly chief financial officer at Capital Workforce Partners. The organization also hired Dr. Steven Moore as chief programs officer. Moore was most recently director of outpatient behavioral health at the Hospital of Central Connecticut. Heather Lavallee was promoted from vice president of administrative services to chief operating officer at the organization.

John Jacobs, director of fitness at the Taking Care Center in Hartford, was appointed to the Committee on Physical Fitness.

Dr. Vinay Ranade, physician at Greater Hartford Women’s Health Associates in West Hartford, was appointed to the Connecticut Homeopathic Medical Examining Board.

Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford announced Adam M. Boruchov as specialist in hematology and oncology. Boruchov most recently served as a fellow and faculty member in the division of hematologic oncology in the Laboratory of Cellular Immunobiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The hospital also hired Stephen Iver Zink as specialist in diagnostic radiology. Zink was previously a fellow in abdominal imaging at the Duke University School of Medicine. Tracey E. Krasnow was appointed specialist in child psychiatry at the hospital. Krasnow was formerly a resident in categorical pediatrics, psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry at Indiana University.

Cronin and Co. in Glastonbury promoted the following employees: Gary Capreol from vice president of media planning to vice president and executive director of media; Wayne Raicik from executive art director to vice president and associate creative director; and Dan Weingrod from vice president and managing director of the interactive services group to senior vice president.
