Senior Exec Moves In

Jim Reavey has been named president of FM Facilities Maintenance, the Hartford company that offers facilities maintenance services nationwide, and he’s being groomed to take over as CEO.

The company said Reavey, a former senior executive at Johnson Controls, “will transition to the CEO role later this year,” replacing Jim Barnes, who will continue to serve as chairman and remain active in acquisitions, strategic alliances and renewable energy opportunities, including solar and wind applications.

FM Facilities Maintenance manages 30,000 customer locations nationwide and projects 2009 revenues of $450 million. It is currently seeking $25 million from select investors through a private offering of preferred shares.
