The U.S. Senate on Wednesday confirmed the nomination of Deirdre M. Daly to a four-year term as U.S. Attorney for Connecticut.
Deirdre has been serving in an interim role since her former boss, David Fein, departed last May.
She previously served as First Assistant U.S. Attorney.
President Obama nominated her for the position in March, and the Senate Judiciary Committee approved the nomination on May 1.
