Selig/Red Sox Hartford event scratched

Citing the Japan earthquake disaster, the World Affairs Council has postponed a scheduled March 24 tete-a-tete in Hartford between Boston Red Sox officials and Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig.

The council says the event will be rescheduled for sometime later this year.

Red Sox CEO Larry Lucchino and Selig were to headline a panel talk on baseball’s global impact at Hartford High School.
