Sovran Self Storage Inc., a New York real estate investment trust, said it’s reached lease agreements to rebrand and operate two Westy Self Storage locations in Milford and Danbury.
Going forward, the facilities will be called Uncle Bob’s Self Storage.
The company now has seven locations in Connecticut, including Glastonbury and Suffield.
The new Connecticut facilities were part of a deal that included two other locations in New York.
Sovran has 15-year leases with options to purchase the four stores for $120 million. Lease payments will total $6 million a year.
