A local security and alarm company owner is looking to build a multi-tenant commercial warehouse on a vacant lot in Hamden.
Applicant Lawrence P. Coassin of Hamden-based 1220 Sherman Ave., LLC is seeking approval from the Planning and Zoning Commission to build a 5,000-square-foot commercial office and warehouse building at 4 Raccio Park Road.
The half-acre vacant property is located on the corner of Raccio Park Road and Sherman Road. It sits next to an acre lot where Coassin runs a security and alarm business, American Total Protection.
His new facility would feature a one-story warehouse with five 1,000-square-foot units and parking.Â
Coassin will use two of the five units for his security business. The other units will be used for contractor warehousing, storage and business offices.
