Scully Joins Sullivan & LeShane

Sullivan & LeShane Public Relations Inc. today announced that former state Senate Democratic communications and media director Patrick Scully would be joining the firm immediately.

“I am extremely excited about this new opportunity,” Scully said.  “It’s not often in your career do you get to join such a successful, reputable and ultimately effective operation.  It’s a great challenge and I can’t wait to get started and make a serious contribution to the group.”

“We’re excited to have Patrick on board,” said Gene Sheehan, president and managing partner of SLPR. “He’s a proven communications professional who brings with him a depth of experience and expertise in crisis communication, issue management and media relations. This addition will further our goal of expanding business potential and delivering the highest level of communications counsel to our blue-chip list of clients.”

Scully has spent the past five years running the media operations for state Senate Democrats including serving as spokesman for Senate President Pro Tempore Donald Williams and the rest of caucus.  During his five-year tenure, the Democrats increased their caucus to 24 members (out of 36).
