Lawn and garden products maker Scotts Miracle-Gro Co. is adding a 100,000-square-foot warehouse to its Lebanon distribution center to serve home-center customers in the Northeast.
Scotts, based in Marysville, Ohio, says it will add three workers to its current staff of 40 with completion of the addition early next year at 20 Industrial Park Road.
The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
The Lebanon facility is part of Scotts Miracle-Gro’s high-service distribution model the company launched in 2009, officials said.
That and 15 other warehouses nationwide are placed nearest to customers to reduce trucking mileage and the associated negative environmental impact.
Its brands include Scotts and Miracle-Gro lawn and garden fertilizers and soils, and the Ortho line of herbicides and pesticides.
