SCOTT HAMILTON SHARES CANCER STORY

Figure Skating Olympic Gold Medalist Scott Hamilton recently shared his personal experience with cancer as part of the John A. DeQuattro Memorial Lecture Series at Manchester Memorial Hospital. Over 300 attendees listened to Hamilton as part of Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s Cancer Survivors Day. Hamilton’s talk focused on making every moment count. Before Hamilton spoke, a gold medal was placed around the neck of each cancer survivor in attendance symbolizing their respective victories over cancer.
