Simsbury Bank parent SBT Bancorp. said it has elected Ann G. Taylor, senior vice president and general counsel for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, to its board of directors.
Taylor has previously worked in executive roles for Fleet Bank, the state Department of Banking and the American Bankers Association.
She’s a commissioner with the Connecticut Justice Commission, a board member of Connecticut Legal Services, and a member of the Connecticut Hospital Association and Metro Hartford Alliance.
SBT will pay her an annual retainer of $6,000 plus meeting attendance fees, it said in a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
