Saucey launches alcohol delivery by app in the state

New Haven, Milford and Bridgeport are among the cities now served by alcohol delivery service Saucey, which announced Tuesday it has started service in the state.

Customers can use an app or the company’s website to order home delivery of beer, wine or spirits from Saucey.

Saucey founder and CEO Chris Vaughn said: “For years, people in this state have struggled with the fact that alcohol could only be purchased from certain stores on certain days at certain times. Since the global pandemic transformed the concept of delivery from an afterthought to routine, now seemed an exciting time to show [Connecticut] the incredible selection Saucey has to offer.”

Los Angeles-based Saucey operates in 600 cities across 13 states, and recently launched service in Atlanta and Portland, Ore.
