A new Dippin’ Dots and Doc Popcorn store has opened in Cheshire.
The beaded ice cream and popcorn chains are sharing a new 1,000-square-foot co-branded store at 2055 Meriden Road.
This is the second co-branded store in Connecticut from franchisee Steve D’Amato, who operates a location at the Tanger Outlet Mall at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, which opened in 2015.
Dippin’ Dots offers flavors like ICEE cherry and blue razz, rainbow ice, and “Frozeti” dough. Doc Popcorn has flavors such as cheesy cheddar, caramel bliss, and new sour cream and onion.
The store will host a grand opening Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. when customers can receive free mini cup samples of both products.
