A national fast-casual salad franchise is set to open its first Connecticut location in Enfield next week, the company announced.
Saladworks, a create-your-own salad franchise with more than 165 locations across 25 states and two countries, is opening its first Connecticut location at 95 Elm St., Enfield, on Aug. 11.
The new restaurant will have more than 60 fresh ingredients for guests to create their own salads or choose from one of the company’s signature recipes. In addition to salads, the restaurant offers wraps, grain bowls and soups, among other options.
The Aug. 11 grand opening will have games, prizes and rewards for the first customers visiting the new location.
According to the company, Saladworks Enfield is owned and operated by local entrepreneur Jack Cadigan who has an extensive background in franchising Dunkin’ locations in the area.
