Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH is coming to Corbin’s Corner, a first for Greater Hartford.
The retailer is opening a new store in the West Hartford retail district in the fall of 2017, its third store in Connecticut, the company said. The other two are in Clinton and Stamford.
The approximately 27,000-square-foot store offers luxury designer fashion, accessories and footwear from more than 800 leading brands for adults and children — all at up to 70 percent off. New items are shipped to the store daily, the company said.
Jonathan Greller, president, Saks OFF 5TH and Gilt, said the retailer is “excited to join the community and bring the ‘thrill-of-the-hunt’ experience we’re known for to area shoppers.”
Developer Seritage Growth Properties of New York said earlier this month it intends to reconfigure space anchoring Corbin’s Corners to house the department store, and potentially other stores and restaurants.
