Russell promoted at Masonicare

Masonicare Health Care Center in Wallingford has promoted Patricia J. Russell to vice president for nursing. In her new position, Russell will lead, direct and administrate operations to assure the quality of patient care and services. Russell joined Masonicare’s Newtown campus in 2007 as director of patient care services. She received her bachelor of science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary’s College in N.Y. and a Geriatric Nurse Certificate from the University of Wisconsin. A Waterbury resident, Russell is a member of the Connecticut Association of Directors of Nursing and serves as a commissioner on the Board of Public Health for the City of Waterbury.
