Rumored mayoral contender Bronin lands at Hinckley Allen

Luke Bronin, who recently announced he would leave his post as Gov. Dannel P. Malloy’s general counsel, will begin working at Hinckley Allen next month, the law firm announced.

Bronin, who is considered a potential contender to run against Hartford Mayor Pedro Segarra next year, will focus on business law, Hinckley Allen said.

Bronin hasn’t said he will run for mayor, but confirmed this month to the Connecticut Mirror that he is considering it.

A statement he released Wednesday morning contained a possible hint at a future in public service.

“I’m looking forward to beginning the next phase of my legal career at a growing firm alongside some of the country’s top attorneys, and I am pleased that Hinckley Allen is fully supportive of my personal commitment to community involvement,” Bronin said.
