Eagle Environmental Inc. in Bristol has installed industrial hygiene consultant Ashis Roychowdhury as executive vice president.
Roychowdhury will oversee Eagle’s technical operations, including its innovation and growth activities, said Eagle President Peter Folino.
Eagle’s specialty is removing asbestos, lead based paint, PCBs, mercury, and indoor air contaminants.Â
Roychowdhury has been a hazardous materials consultant for more than 21 years and has been a senior technical leader at some of the Northeast’s largest industrial hygiene and consulting firms, public agencies and corporations, Folino said.
His expertise is in indoor air quality and industrial hygiene studies and he has been a featured speaker for many trade associations on the subjects.
Roychowdhury is a licensed asbestos inspector, management planner and project designer, and lead planner/project designer in Connecticut. He participates in the American Industrial Hygiene Association Asbestos Analyst Registry.
He has a bachelors degree in mechanical engineering from India’s University of Calcutta and a masters in operations management from the Central Connecticut State University. Â
