ROSE’S LEGACY FIGHTING BREAST CANCER

During a recent luncheon, the staff at Employee Family Protection Inc. in Glastonbury presented Komen Connecticut with a check for $51,000, bringing its seven-year fundraising effort in the fight against breast cancer to just shy of $300,000. The small staff raised the funds through Rose’s Legacy, its annual charity golf tournament named after Rose Tomaino, one of the founding employees of EFP, who died of the disease. Pictured are, from left, Gramoz Mema, Allison Ross, Erica Seymour, Jillian Talbot, Ginny Huhn, Anne Morris executive director of Komen Connecticut, Kim Rutty and EFP Chairman and CEO Charlie Stepnowski.
