People’s United Bank Chief Financial Officer David Rosato now has the same post at the Bridgeport regional lender’s parent, People’s United Financial Inc.
Rosato succeeds Kirk W. Walters, who stepped down from the parent’s CFO post but remains with the company in charge of corporate development and strategic planning.
Rosato joined People’s United in 2007 from Webster Bank as senior vice president and treasurer, and was named People’s United Bank CFO last April. He began his career at M&T Bank in the investment portfolio group.
He earned both his MBA and undergraduate degrees from the University of Maryland and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
