A New Jersey-based ownership group tied to a multistate roofing contractor has purchased an industrial warehouse building in Danbury for $1.33 million, according to city land records.
85 Shelter Rock LLC, controlled by Glenn Crooker Sr. and Glenn Crooker Jr., acquired the 11,040-square-foot, one-story building at 85 Shelter Rock Road.
The Crookers are principals of Alden Bailey Restoration Corp., an installer of slate, tile and copper roofs with locations in multiple states.
Glenn Crooker Sr. said the company is cleaning out the building and has not yet decided how it will be used.
The seller was the estate of Marie Plecity, with Linda Plecity, of Newtown, and Heidi Griffiths, of Rhode Island, listed as executors.
The building was constructed in 1962 and sits on a 1.2-acre parcel. It is appraised at $615,300 and assessed at $405,500.
