The state’s Clean Energy Finance and Investment Authority has selected Ross Solar Group of Rocky Hill to build residential photovoltaic systems in four towns under the Solarize Connecticut program.
Ross will build systems in Ashford, Chaplin, Hampton and Pomfret.
Solarize, overseen by CEFIA in partnership with Washington, D.C.-based SmartPower, offers group discounts through pre-selected installers, relying on cities and towns to conduct outreach to homeowners.
People who live in any of the four communities can attend a meeting at 7 p.m. on Sept. 24 at 25 Pompey Hollow Road in Ashford to learn more.
