Rocky Hill school bus drivers reject union

School bus drivers and monitors in Rocky Hill have rejected an effort to join the Teamsters union.

The approximately 75 employees of Durham School Services voted 39-31 not to be represented by Teamsters Local 671, according to Durham School’s attorney, James Foster.

The union had petitioned the National Labor Relations Board for a secret ballot vote.

A Teamsters official was not immediately available for comment.
