Glastonbury’s Rockville Bank said it plans to open a full-service branch in North Haven.
The two-story, 5,000-square-foot branch will open in the third quarter of 2014 at 117 Washington Ave. It has received approvals from federal and state regulators.
The announcement signifies a continued reshuffling of Rockville branches. It announced a new Hamden branch, which will open on Whitney Avenue by year’s end. A West Hartford branch opened in March. The bank also announced in July that it would close one of its three Enfield branches.
Rockville had a solid second quarter, increasing profits by 14 percent in the three months ended June 30.
