Rockville Bank’s Crawford gets board seats

William H.W. “Bill” Crawford, soon-to-be chief executive of Rockville Bank in Vernon, has officially taken a seat on the boards of the bank and its parent, a regulatory filing says.

Crawford’s board terms expire in 2014, according to the latest 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

An ex-Wells Fargo banker who joined Rockville Bank in January as a senior vice president, Crawford, 45, will replace retiring CEO William J. McGurk when he formally cedes the reins of the bank and its parent, Rockville Financial Corp., on April 26.
