Ex-Citigroup banker Oona Robinson is the new deputy chief financial officer at Waterbury regional lender Webster Bank.
Robinson, who also is a senior vice president, reports to Webster finance chief Glenn MacInnes.
She fills a vacancy created with the 2014 departure of Carl M. Carlson, who joined Massachusetts’ Brookline Bancorp as chief financial officer.
At Citigroup, she was treasurer of its OneMain Financial unit. Before that, Robinson headed financial analysis for the Student Loan Corp.
Born in South Africa, Robinson earned her MBA from Columbia University and is a chartered accountant in her native country.
