Hartford law firm Robinson & Cole said it has expanded its presence to a sixth state with the addition of an office in Miami, Fla.
The firm said the new location brings it closer to litigation work stemming from natural disasters in Florida and the Southeast. Many of those cases are argued in Miami-Dade County and the Southern District of Florida, according to the firm, which has 200 attorneys.
Partner Eugene P. Murphy will oversee the new office.
Robinson & Cole also has offices in Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and California.
