Avon insurance businessman David Robb is the new chairman of Riverfront Recapture Inc.
Robb, founder of Robb Re LLC and a retired executive vice president of Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., succeeds Thomas F. Mullaney Jr., of West Hartford, as the nonprofit group’s chair.
Robb previously served as Riverfront Recapture’s treasurer.
The organization was created in 1981 to lead the restoration of public access to the Connecticut River in Hartford and East Hartford. It manages the Riverfront park system.
