Life insurer Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. said that its chief financial officer, Lizabeth Zlatkus, will be named its chief risk officer. The company said it will begin looking externally for a new CFO.
Zlatkus, who was named CFO in February 2008, will keep the post until the company names someone to fill it.
She joined The Hartford in 1983 in an accounting capacity for the property and casualty operations. Zlatkus began her professional career at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co., now KPMG. (AP)
