Riko’s Thin Crust Pizza, a New England-based pizzeria known for its crispy, thin-crust pizza, oven baked wings and Hot Oil Pizza, is opening its first location in Fairfield this month.
The eatery is coming to 1920 Black Rock Turnpike in Fairfield on Feb. 17.
Riko’s currently has three other locations in Connecticut, including one in Norwalk and two in Stamford, with a fourth location in Darien coming soon, as well as locations in New York and Florida, according to its website.
Business partners Jay Fitzgerald and Charlie Aysseh are the new owners and operators of Riko’s Fairfield restaurant.
“Riko’s offers something for everyone and we are excited to be a welcoming place for people to have great food and a great time,” Fitzgerald said.
Aysseh said there’s been a buzz about Riko’s bringing its thin-crust pizza, oven baked wings and salad-topped pizzas to Fairfield.
“From the moment people heard we were coming to town, there’s been constant interest about when we’re opening,” Aysseh said. “We’re thrilled to show off our full renovation and serve some amazing pizza.”
In addition to its pizza, Riko’s will offer dessert and a bar area with signature cocktails.
The Fairfield location will have seating capacity for 110 people. It will be open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays.
