Principals of Stamford-based Riko’s Pizza have purchased a Ridgefield restaurant property for $1.5 million where the growing chain plans to open its next location, according to town land records.
955 Ethan Allen LLC, controlled by Luigi Cardillo and Robert Furnari, bought the one-story, 4,003-square-foot building, at 955 Ethan Allen Highway, in early May.
Cardillo is Riko’s chief financial and technology officer, while Furnari is chief administrative officer, according to the company’s website. Cardillo did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Riko’s in March announced plans to open its 13th restaurant at the Ridgefield location. The chain has six restaurants in Fairfield County and six others in New York, Florida and North Carolina.
The seller was Maria Gardelli, trustee, of Weston.
