Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association moves into new healthcare facility

The Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA) has moved into its new headquarters building, the Center for Exceptional Care, at 27 Governor St., Ridgefield.

“The RVNA Center for Exceptional Care is an innovative healthcare facility designed to promote health and wellness within our communities,” Theresa Santoro, CEO of RVNA, said in a report in this week’s Connecticut Association for Healthcare at Home newsletter. “It will serve as the headquarters of RVNA, a nonprofit health organization that provides healthcare at home for all ages and stages of life, as well as offer on-site preventive care, physical therapy, and healthy living programs.”

RVNA, which serves 28 towns in western Connecticut, is expanding its services in disease prevention, nutrition education and counseling, physical therapy and caregiver support, the report said. RVNA provides home services and non-medical services, which it delivers through HomeCare by RVNA.
