Cranston, R.I.-based Falvey Linen Supply & Uniform Rental Co. has leased 18,546 square feet of industrial space in 135 Furniture Row, Milford.
An 89-year-old family-owned and -operated company with a service area encompassing Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Maine and southern New Hampshire, Falvey Linen Supply was represented by Senior Commercial Broker Carl Russell, CCIM, SIOR, GRI of Pearce Commercial in the transaction.
Furniture Row landlord AIG Global Real Estate Investment Corp. was also represented by Russell and Senior Commercial Specialist John Bergin of Pearce Commercial’s Milford office.
Colonial Properties brokers 3 leases
Michael Richetelli, president of Colonial Properties in Orange, has announced completion of three transactions: Richetelli represented B Beautiful Spa in a five-year lease of 1,700 square feet at 670-680 Boston Post Rd., Milford. Colonial Vice President Kevin Weirsman represented the landlord, SMH Milford LLC. The space, formerly Gupta Eye Care, has been renovated to fit the needs of the new spa.
Weirsman also represented landlord, North York Commercial LLC, in a two-year lease of 8,200 square feet of commercial space at 843 Hamilton Ave., Waterbury. Tenant Steve Bonauto of Tony’s Auto Sales will use the space for classic car storage and sales.
Richetelli also represented landlord Vlock Family Realty, in the leasing of 2,500 square feet of light industrial/office space at 316 Boston Post Rd., Orange for three years to Metro Signs.
Nonprofit leases 15,000 s/f in No. Haven
Senior Leasing Broker Ted Schaffer of Press Cuozzo Commercial Services has brokered a lease at 117 Washington Ave., North Haven between the nonprofit Agency on Aging of South Central Connecticut and landlord the Commercial Investment Group. The ten-year, 15,000-square-foot pact tops off redevelopment of the former North Haven shopping center repurposed for office use. Jillian Moruzzi of CW Landmark was the listing broker.
Heavy metal in Milford
Statewide Sheet Metal LLC has leased a 2,000-square-foot unit in a multi-tenant facility at 45 Eastern Steel Road, Milford. The tenant will use the space for sheet-metal operations and the storage of items related to the business. The landlord is Connors Properties LLC. Bill Clark of the Geenty Group was sole broker in the transaction.
