SI Financial Group Inc., buoyed by the Windham community lender’s push into Rhode Island’s banking market, saw its fourth-quarter and fully-year net income climb.
For three months ended Dec. 31, the parent of Savings Institute Bank & Trust Co. said Friday it netted $1.4 million, or 11 a diluted share, up from $1 million, or 8 cents a share, netted the fourth quarter of 2013.
For the year, SI netted $4.4 million, or 36 cents a diluted share, reversing its 2013 net loss of $855,000, or 8 cents a share.
