Apparel brand Rhone plans to move its headquarters from 1 Dock St. in Stamford to more than 40,000 square feet at 300 Atlantic St. downtown.
Rhone will occupy the building’s top two floors, the company and building owner RFR announced Wednesday. More than 150 employees are expected to work there after the move, planned for summer 2027, according to Rhone Chief Operating Officer Matthew Wallace.
Founded in 2014 by brothers Nate and Ben Checketts, Rhone makes performance apparel for exercise and everyday wear. The company operates more than 20 retail stores nationwide.
New York-based RFR said it is completing renovations this month at the 300,000-square-foot building, at the corner of Atlantic Street and Tresser Boulevard. The upgrades include more than 10,000 square feet of amenities, including a cafe, fitness center, lounge and conference center. RFR bought the building for $151 million in 2007, according to property records.
Other companies that recently signed leases at the building include Bank Street Group LLC, InCommodities US LLC, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP and Fifth Season Investments LLC.
