Revenues are in flux at the Journal Register Co., which owns a variety of Connecticut newspapers, including the New Haven Register, the New Britain Herald, and the Bristol Press. Net income is up to $11.2 million in the third quarter of this year from $7.3 million in 2006, but total revenue is down by 7.4 percent to $113 million in 2007 from $122 million last year. Online revenue has increased 23.1 percent over last year, while national advertising revenue is down 20.4 percent from 2006. Circulation numbers at the company were flat.
