Revenue, income up at Axsys

Rocky Hill-based Axsys Technologies Inc., a developer of surveillance cameras and imaging systems, saw a 54 percent increase in its net income to $4.1 million in the third quarter, over the same time last year. The company also reported 34 percent revenue growth to $45.2 million from $33.6 million last year. Recently, Axsys made allowances for the divestiture of Distributed Products Group, which affected Q3 numbers.
