The Connecticut Retail Merchants Association has extended its partnership with Energize Connecticut to encourage businesses to perform energy efficiency work.
Energize’s Small Business Energy Advantage program allows all businesses to receive a no-cost, no-obligation assessment of their energy use; and if the business owner decides to make efficiency upgrades, the program will cover up to 50 percent of the costs.
In 2013, the SBEA had 1,600 businesses participate, leading to $4.5 million in savings.
